"The Wheels of Life"

Postby gudmund » Sun Dec 10, 2023 12:24 pm

years ago when I was researching teardrops ('12), I found this on the internet - I still get a 'good' laugh out of it when seeing it in my saved files........

PS I guess now, after looking at this again - I shouldn't be 'laughing' to much being I am now 2 months short of turning age 70 myself (with a pacemaker '16/open heart surgery '17 and than the gul-bladder removal that almost killed me in '21) .................. take care

We never know when we'll get to those last two stages of life after the teardrop so enjoy as much as you can now!

PS. Did you notice that all the drivers in those drawings seem to be seated on the right side of the vehicle?
Must have been drawn in another country, maybe Canada or England?

Let me put it this way the road ahead is a lot shorter than the one behind. We did a 4,000 mile round trip to Yellowstone Grand Tetons this summer and met the sister I did not know I had (I was adopted) two years ago, and her wife. The tear is now 14 YO and I am 74, the subaru hit 170,000 miles in Yellowstone. We will likely not do such ambitious trips, but certainly a trip to Lake Superior Provincial Park next summer.
Go for it!
