Deanette Teardrop Trailer

Postby OurStuff4You » Thu Aug 26, 2004 10:18 am

I have posted an image of a vintage ad for a Deanette Teardrop Trailer. This ad was given to me at Greenfield Village this summer - maybe from Joseph Ruckman??? Anyway, thought it was worth passing along.

Has anyone ever seen one of these in real life?

That's a new one to me. Interesting to see that it was made in Texas.

Nick.

I like the style...
But the name... Now that really gets me!

I'd have to call it the Deaner, that's what everyone called me when I was a kid. (sometimes with a couple of other choice words tacked on)

It looks like a Modernistic, which I feel is the most eye catching design out there, but... When I get playing around, designing everything into the Modernistic design, it has some drawbacks. I think the Benroy is the most user freindly design to work with, so as of right now, my design looks like a cross between a Benroy and a Modernistic. Very similar to the Cabin Car design, without those goofy doors.
