Help on new mural!!

Postby beverlyt » Sun Sep 12, 2004 8:08 am

Ok, I'm having a little trouble here.

IF we were to have more painted on our trailer, we have two ideas for the front. Which do you prefer?
1.
Windows painted on that look much like the Camp-Inn windows:

Inside the window, a outside reflection view, such as:

or:

Or:
a view "looking in" to the inside of teardrop. Cupboards, etc.....

2.
No windows
A Landscape view alone, by itself, much like this:

Which would you prefer please????

Hi Bev

I think the landscape would be more in keeping with your deer.

Another question?
If it's the landscape scene..should it be a tent or teardrop trailer?

My vote is to have the windows looking to the inside... maybe show some pulled back curtains, with an inside scene... get as wild as you want, maybe a hot tub or something, or maybe the scene from a really really large travel trailer...

Here's an example with a hot tub.

I'll have to say, for your Tear, the Landscape view. And definately have a Teardrop in it.
I do like mikes idea but it wouldn't go along with your motif.

I really like the view in Bev for the front. However, I also agree that your motif with the deer would support a landscape. I'd definitely go with a teardrop rather than a tent!

Back when I was involved with dwarf cars, (5/8 scale mid-thirties style stock cars) the promoters thought the class would really appeal to the kids. They had us do things like towing down the walkway in front of the grandstand, with the drivers standing in the roof hatch throwing candy to the rugrats. They tried to make us paint a cartoon character "driver" inside the window facing the grandstand. I drew up plans for a pneumatcally animated enhanced Jessica Rabbit, with her

Anyway, given the number of folks that peer into teardrop windows, it might be appropriate to paint something that would pop up and stare back.
