We can't help it. Complaining about winter is how Canadians show each other how tough they are. We usually end with something along the lines of "still, it's nothing like the blizzard of..." :D
Here's a glamour shot to entice visiting in the winter.

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Okay! Lets not sugar coat it! :x
We are officially 15 days until the start of winter, and the predicted low for Northern B.C. today is -42C in Fort St John.
Now that is brisk....hope there is no wind. :worship:
As between -40 &-48C you will get frost bite on any exposed skin, in 5 to 10 minutes.
Thank god for indoor toilets!

We are down south here at a balmy -9C, but it is supposed to get colder tonight and over the next two days.

I must have been shivering too hard :). Hey, nobody buys an ipad mini for the camera. I bet you'll complain about all the power lines in this one...

Much better picture.......but you could have really dazzled me by confirming the Vintage war plane was in the picture, and had just crossed the picture with one engine shot out.
