Links don't work anymore, getting a 404 error - file not found. I didn't see these on your yahoo pic page, either. Any chance of getting them uploaded there sometime?

I once made a unit much like the first basic box on the Boy Scout site. It was designed to fit into the door of my coleman popup while it was closed for traveling. That allowed us to pull it out to cook if we wanted to while on the road. I put a single horrizontal shelf in one side, and additional shelves in the other side to hold silverway trays, plates, tumblers, etc. It didn't have a base. I just set it on the picnic table and dropped the front to a horizontal position to use as a work surface. It didn't hold the camp stove though, just food and cooking supplies. The camp stove sat on a folding aluminum stand made for the purpose.

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

Here is my version of the Scout box.

Postby chezrad » Sun Oct 30, 2005 7:21 pm

I did some week long camping with my sons (7 and 9) and we needed a kitchen box. After much searching, including this board, for ideas, I came up with this.

There are 21 pics total in my personal gallery. Let me know if you need more info on this version. These things are really handy and I'm glad I built it.

Cheers.

I was cruising that site and thought the prices were WAY spendy, til I realised the prices were in Australian dollars, not gringo dollars...

Definitely some ideas worth poaching, though...
