I think we are doing well without the translator...

Fear may be too strong a concern. Any time you leave lumber outside there is a concern for its preservation. Finishing used helps resist the effects of water.

Pmullen503 expressed it well. There are many different sources of water from rain to fog. Temperature changes encourage condensation from morning dew to the humidity of our breathing.
