Framed the door. Going to skin it and install the window and latch in a bit.

Door is skinned and window installed. I'm going to pull the window out and seal the door with epoxy. I'll put epoxy fillets on the inside for extra strength.

The queen mattress came in today. I also received the black insert. I'm going to work on the bedding/interior tonight.

That looks like a fixed window. What is your plan for ventilation?

Got the black trim on. I like it much better. Really pops.

I'm a nuts and bolts guy. I can build you a motor or a rearend or whatever, but all the body stuff is twirling in my head...epoxy...putty...ack!
I just don't get it yet, so...is there a sticky somewhere that lists the materials/procedures/ins and outs of what's been done here for the waterproofing, strength building, etc?
I just know I'm going to get to a particular finishing point and do it some which way and then after the fact find a link here somewhere and realize I wish I'd done it that way. My little brain can't remember all these great ideas without a list.

It can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but it's really not bad. I get confused by all the types of fillers out there, but I know what works for what I need, so I tend to stick with the basics.

I'll work on a FAQ for this stuff and try to get it posted in the near future. The best sites I've seen for epoxy are on the boatbuilding sites.

I'm working on wrapping the foam for the headliner tonight. This is very tedious.

I'm using black fleece and hot glue to attach it to the foam. It sure looks cool. 8)

I went looking for some sheets too, but couldn't find any nice red ones, so I bought some white ones. I'll install the bedding tomorrow.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm doing. It's really just small stuff after I get the door on and finish up the interior.

Steve, I thank you for the offer to build a FAQ. That's exactly what a too-busy-to-read-6000-posts guy needs!!!
I'll be looking forward to it, friend.
