Hi,
Now that I've ordered my axle,(Madjack, it is a Dexter torflex) I have a few weeks to wait. In the meantime I'm wanting to order my roof fan.
I know that a lot of people on this forum mention Fantastic fans. How do you like them? Are they easy to use and are they noisy? Would you recommend the rain-sensor model (I live in Washington State).
I was wondering if anyone uses a solar fan and if so, how do you like it, and where did you buy it?
I'd also like to hear about other choices used by people on the forum.
:) Thanks.
Kris
p.s. I hope I didn't miss a thread about this.

I got mine from:

http://members.aol.com/fantasticvent/

He is a good guy, and has great customer service. Let him know what you are doing and will step you thru all the options. A few others on this board got theirs from him also and have had great results as well.

Kris, I HiGHLY recommend Scott at the same place that AF and Chris got theirs. He will bend over backwards before shipping to make sure you are getting exactly what you want...other than Ebay, he has the best prices and nobody has more options for domes/garnishes/handles and his prices include shipping and he is still cheaper. A really good guy to deal with...the rain option would certainly be nice inna big RV where you would haveta get outta bed and walk over to the fan to close the vent...inna tear, you just reach up and close/open/turn it off/on/adj speed/direction...inna tear you will rarely haveta run it over the low speed...

Thanks Madjack. It is nice to hear that a supplier gets repeated good marks from teardroppers. I'll definitely give them a call.
Kris

Mike mentioned Northern Breeze, and that he can run it on low with the vent closed to circulate the air... I like that idea for cold weather camping to move the heat around... so I would consider the N/B instead of the Fantastic fan, or at least consider it as an alternative.
