DOOR OPENING......

How much larger should the door opening be than the door? I know I should allow something for seals and hardware just not sure how much. :thinking:

RC, the gap around the door depends on a number of factors...is the seal on the inside or outside, what kinda trim, thickness of door...once all of that has been figured and added up, you need to end up with around 1/8th of an inch all around...we used an internal seal and with 3 pieces of 1/16th trim and a 1/8th gap, gave us an initial gap of 5/16 all around before trim was added....
