Hurricane hinge in Europe

Gentlemen , allthough your coaches and equiptment are not only beautiful but sophisticated, I found the Hurricane hinge(s) described to be quite dear ...My cabin spans 6 feet ...a simple stainless steel Piano hinge and canvas (Old School ) flap made from an expired firehose, seals all to my satisfaction ,and didn't rob the bank to finance it ...
