Sealing with epoxy--any reason NOT to do it before assembly?

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

This is just a 'rest of the story' note (tip of hat to Paul Harvey) I thinned the second coat of epoxy much more than the first.

After sanding the first coat, we put the seocnd coat on. Spread easier, of course, and today when I looked at the walls and doors, the epoxy haed dired to a nice gloss. After sanding, it should provide a good surface for paint...thanks for all the good advice and hand-holding, folks!

A disposition to preserve, and an ability to improve, taken together, would be my standard of a statesman...

But what is liberty without wisdom, and without virtue? It is the greatest of all possible evils; for it is folly, vice, and madness, without tuition or restraint.
