Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Postby Trucrz » Sun Apr 29, 2007 6:13 am

I have just finished building the galley, I will soon do the wiring and then I can stain it.
A power point is to go in the L/hand pannel, and other switches and a twelve volt outlet in the other side.
I will post a better picture soon

Just finished installing the interior cabinet doors. Here are the pics:
This is the front cabinet:

This is the front cabinet with the bo-fold door open:

This is the rear cabinet:

This is looking from outside the door to the rear cabinet:

This is my creative engineering to get a lift assist mechanism on the rear cabinet upward lifting bifold. It is mounted on the ceiling inside the cabinet. It is a deconstructed retractable dog leash:
Image

And all of that was done in the humid heat this weekend with breeze provided by GAZILLIONS of beating mosquito wings. How we do suffer for our craft.

For the icing on the cake, my 800th post! I had figured it would be some smarta$$ remark instead of actually documenting my build. So it goes!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Thank you for the compliment. It's not a vent--it's a rooftop a/c:
