Bouncey HF trailer fix

Ran across this. About middle ways down in the article he explains what he did to fix the bouncy trailer. Anyone ever try taking the bottom leaf out of your leaf spring set and go with it for a while? Did it help? Any adverse effects?. Difficult to remove the leaf? Thanks for any responses.

the effort & time...pic's/discription's,etc...w/a few 100lbs of weight,My HF 1175 lb trailer pull's great..& best of all 199.00 + tax/tabs..internet order a few month's back..back ordered,it took 3 mo..to receive...Well worth the wait...
