Well i got my galley hinge yesterday and i just want to say that lil bear teardrop parts was great to deal with and super fast service.I needed 49" hinge and he cut it for me no extra charge. One thing thou should i hang the hinge past the tear a 1/4" on each side or flush? You know to help divert water.

At least a 1/4... probably a little bit more... I would shoot for 3/8" overhang on each side!

It's a good idea to cut the hatch side (inside) slightly shorter than the body side. This will help prevent any inside dripping.
