Rubber roofing question

I am in the gathering materials phase of my build. I recently got some rubber roofing material that was being installed on an addition at work. Has anyone used this material before?

Barry-

I used EDPM Rubber Roofing specifically for RV's on my build, Love it, BUT it's a pain to keep clean!

Also make sure the surface you are applying it to is smooth as any imperfections "telegraph" thru...

Here's where I bought mine:

Ditto what Coop said. I got mine from a rv dealer. They stock it to make repairs to coach roofs. It has been in a driving rain and works great. And it is paintable if you wish.

I have heard this mentioned several times but have never heard what kind of paint will stick to it. The EPDM rubber roofs that is sold for RV use is great material for teardrop roofs, I used it on my build. As an RV tech, I see many things tried, one of them is to put "Cool Seal" over a EPDM roof. Some of them it just peels right off of, some I have seen it totally destroy the rubber. Any product that contains petroleum base or solvents will destroy the material!
Just a heads up from someone who has been there. If you want to use a coating on EPDM, try it on a scrap piece first.
