How Much Aluminum?

How many sheets of aluminum did it take to cover your tear?

I bought 4 (4X8) sheets.
I think I'm going to be one short since it's 68" wide.
Think I'll use some diamond plate on the front though. That should make up the difference.

If you count two sheets for the sides, that leaves you 2 for the top, front, and back. Better get one more. Mine is wider than 48 also. Much more expensive to build.

I covered mine with lots left over with four sheets, but my tear is 60" wide, and I bought 5' X 12' aluminum. It was the only 5' wide in San Antonio that wasn't painted.

So just double checking - For a Cubby I can order 3 - 4x10 (for the sides and top) and 1 4x8 for the galley.

Just need a sanity check..............

Thanks

I picked up four 4x10x.040 just to be on the safe side. I'll have leftover but someone suggested using the left over to line the galley. Anybody tried this for the galley?
