Here's my removable kitchen. Last night, I timed myself. In eight minutes, the whole thing is out with no damage.

While building my TD, I realized how much I missed my utility trailer (which has become the TD). I wanted to be able to remove the entire galley with ease so that I could use the TD like an enclosed utility trailer. The whole countertop area is essentially a table and is held in place with four wing nuts through the floor. The rear shelves lock into cleats on the sidewalls and lift up and out. The bulk head is held onto cleats and the sidewalls with six screws. The electrical has quick disconnects everywhere. This setup also allowed me to have a real mattress inside. Now, I can take it out without a chainsaw!

Very nicely done. Good idea and execution. I was originally trying to make mine to where it could be used as a utility trailer too but the more features I added the more it became obvious that it would be difficult to use it for much other than a camper. Good job!

Nice bit of engineering there.

I assume you built it on the Snowbear frame. I know we discussed the Snowbear utility trailers a few months back. I decided to keep my Snowbear as a utility trailer and purchased a 5x8 Red Trailer for my teardop project.

Very nice. Once again, I wish I'd thought of a removable galley. I really like your flooring What'd you use?

Nice job! I just finished a galley remodel on mine.
I'll take some pictures today and post them.

I'd like to see a picture with the galley removed and a detail of the galley out of the tear. Do you have some pictures you can post?

Thanks!
Jay

The flooring is scrap pergo-like material that I had leftover from a Home Improvement project. It snaps together and I construction adhesived it down. I'll get some more pictures with the galley out when I get a chance. I'm mid-aluminum right now! :? :o
