Hi new to forum y'all have too many designs too hard to pick just one. But the one i want to start with is the RIMPLE. But where in middle georgia do i get 1/8 plywood? Can i mail order 2 or 3 sheets anybody in atlanta sell it? Any help or ideas would be appreciated. robert
If you're in Macon area you can try Leeds building supply. You could also contact a couple of the local cabinet makers & inquire as to where they obtain their product from.
I had a really hard time finding 1/8 plywood to. I ended up using paneling (the real stuff, not the kind made out of cardboard) and I am really happy with it.
I was looking at yours again this past weekend Darryl. I think I will go with a similar paneling in mine. I have to add again, darn nice TD. It was one of the first I ran across the night I began my TD research a while back when you were still building. I really like how you did your AC. Has it proven to work well this summer?
Started many, finished none... Bought a TTT <Sigh>
Know what you mean about camping in the South during the summer without A/C.
This is my first post and just got interested in the TD. Could you make a hatch, say in the front over the tongue and slid the entire A/C unit into your TD, thus avoiding the duct work? Of course you would need to design the interior for this.
Did you have a problems with condensation on the duct work inside your TD?
Yes you could mount it on the tongue but as you read, I had my reasons for not doing it. Take a look at Kuffel Creek's page on A/Cs it might give you some ideas.
