Bendable Lauan For The Top

Postby Doug Adams » Sun Oct 23, 2005 9:49 am

This past Friday, I found Bending Luan 8x4. I can take a 4x8 sheet and bend it in a circle, with little effort. I just wanted to share this. Oh yes $18.62 a sheet

The one I found, bends end to end. I was so excited, I didn't think about asking about side to side bending. I can see how that too would come in handy,

I found it at a place called Greensboro Hardwood Center in High Point, NC I don't know if this will help, The product number is 14BGLAU. It is a fairly common product in construction, used in covering the inside of arches.

I bought 1/4 inch they had 3/8 inch too. 1/4 worked fine for me. I plan to cover it with a sheet of aluminum. Later
