Vinyl roof covering? Any thoughts?

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

I've done the tonneau.

I opted for using black tonneau fabric over sealed luan, but just in the front of the teardrop. I'm also using it over the front of my toolbox, so it sort of gives the tear a protective 'bra' like look that was popular with some cars ten - twenty years ago. I did not any adhesives. I just tacked it down using an electric stapler at the roof line edges and around the access door that leads to the toolbox. I put temlock molding over the staples to clean up the look. I hope to take it up on her maiden voyage next week, so I'll have a better idea of how she'll fare then. I have pics in my gallery. I wish I understood how to add one to this posting..[/img]
