Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I have been busy sealing my ceiling with "The mix". The varnish can says to leave 24hrs between coats but I noticed the early coats that are drastically thinned seem to dry much faster, which makes sense with so much of it being mineral turps and just evaporating.
Do you still leave it the 24hr between coats anyway?
