Watertight galley

Postby gene so » Wed Aug 30, 2017 11:10 am

Having spent time in the Olympic peninsula with its 200 plus inches of rain per year, I am especially concerned about making my galley I am fabricating waterproof. Just starting, I wish to do this correctly to havea waterproof seal on the hatch the first time!

I suggest you sketch out your sealing system on paper. I do the hatch/wall seal following Fredrick's Shop Manual. I've seen a couple other sealing systems that are probably equal but none better in my opinion.
