Attaching edge trim

What kind of screws or fasteners do you use to hold the trim on with when you use plywood for your sides? I know screws don't hold well in the edge of plywood. Thanks

#6 stainless panhead screws. Pre drill. Get everything dry fitted and then remove. Squeeze sealer into the screws holes and a bead along the edge and screw it back down.

3M 5200 if you want it to never come off.

3M 4200 and Sikaflex-11 FC more gentle, LifeCaulk & 3M 101 even more so.

All seal, have flex, even the 5200

Proper planning and prep are critical.

Butyl tape for sealing only, no adhesion.
