Tear drop galley hing

Postby black a Peace Eagle » Sun Jun 10, 2018 3:58 pm

Has anyone used Centaflex Hinge PVC as the galley hatch hing? Mine is leaking and because I cut the hurricane hinge to short and have no over hang.
Go well

Interesting. Have not seen mentioned of it here. Do you know if this is available in US?

I believe it is sold in Australia. I have seen it on line.

I bought a UV resistant plastic hinge from McMaster-Carr and put it on my tongue box. It only lasted a few years.

I just use gorilla duct tape over the hurricane hinge since I was getting wind driven rain through the hinge while it was sitting in the yard. I would just cut it long and leave an inch stick out beyond the edge of the camper. That may deflect the water and keep it from entering the hatch. Works for me.
