wood rot prevention (hallelujah!)

Hello,

On my 'hybrid' foamie, I used Western red cedar for the deck and framing because it is much more rot-resistant than pine, and it's about 1/3 lighter than pine. The trailer is in excellent shape.

Now I'm renovating a 30' Airstream, which has suffered from a very common problem in many RVs - floor rot due to water leakage through roof vents and fasteners (about 4000 rivets in the Airstream). So I've been searching for a way to rot-proof the plywood floor (treated plywood is a no-no - it's corrosive to aluminum and possibly a toxic hazard), and I've found a safe solution. You can read about it in this thread from the Airforums.
