Wood strip and canvas covering?

First time, I pasted in the link, then hit IMG. Gave what appeared to be the right sequence, but didn't work. Second time, I FIRST hit IMG, then pasted the link, then hit IMG again. Both ways seem to produce the same results, but neither showed up as an image.

Somebody tell me what's in YOUR string of letters/numbers BEFORE you hit submit, as compared with my 2 examples above. Or do I need to add a .jpg? (The original image was saved as .jpg.)

[edit] I put the .jpg in the personal gallery, then opened it and copied the URL. Then typed "Latest attempt," hit return, pasted URL in. Then highlighted URL and hit the IMG button, then hit submit.

What am I doing wrong?? (This is not Kindergarten Teaching! Which I think is probably harder than Rocket Science.)

The last time you did it somehow there was a space between the first [img] and the http. That was why it didn't work that time....

I wonder if it somehow has to do with the fact I'm using mac and firefox browser. Mainly the latter. Think I'll try using Safari browser, see what happens.

You have not highlighted the -img- in the line above your url. I am with Mad Jack on the vagaries of 001110101010. However, If you take your time and be attentive to the tiny details like where you blue highlight is you should be able to get it.

Try it in reply. You can check it in preview and do it as many times as you need to get it to work for your puter
Hint: you need to push preview button every time you make a change.
