Worried!

Here's where you can talk to the manufacturers about custom built trailers, etc...

Postby Sardines » Fri Dec 28, 2007 8:16 am

For a second, I thought you were an early bird, then I realized you were in Eastern time and keeping "Carpenters' Hours"

I actually AM worried. I really don't know John and Henri, except from e-mail and phone calls. But, I do know they are older than I am and at least one of them has had health issues. At last count, they were working on trailer number 161 (that I know of) I own number 116. They do good work, and due to quality control issues, they really are the whole factory. If they stop, that is one less source of quality Tear Drops.

Hey, have you tried to give them a call? 541-782-5581. Maybe they took a break for the holidays.

So, Paul,

Are you coming to our gathering at Lake Sommerville Texas the weekend of 22 Feb? The South Central folks are trying to get a group together (we have 4 so far) and can use all the folks we can get. (I just thought I would degenerate the thread a little further by linking it to another thread in another topic! :D How's your summer been?

Wow... first time I've ever heard anyone talk about Cozy Cruiser. Seems like a nice tear, but nobody seemed to own one.

Hopefully all is ok with John and Henri.

Cozy Cruiser

Postby Sardines » Fri Jan 25, 2008 7:41 pm

Yep, I am the third owner of number 116. Last time I talked to Henri, she and John were finishing up number 161 (that's been over a year ago). Nice little trailer. Finish and attention to detail are outstanding. Really comfortable to sleep in too. I finally got my A/C and can't wait to get it installed. Kind of hard to do if you don't want to punch any holes in the skin. I figure I'll run it through the roof vent. A/C is a MUST in Texas. 8)

I'm glad to hear that. Now I can just chalk it up to very busy. I'm happy they're doing better. I remember that even in the best of times, with only two of them, correspondence and communication were not real high on the priority list. Building teardrops WAS! :applause:

OK, I posted two pics in a personal gallery. I have more, but not on this 'puter right now. You can see how the WHOLE thing sits under the EZ-UP!
