Little Guy "lil Rough Rider"

Here's where you can talk to the manufacturers about custom built trailers, etc...

Little Guy "lil Rough Rider"

Postby funlittleguys.com » Tue Jul 01, 2008 10:44 pm

After reading lots of posts, I have decided to post some photos-mostly for Madjack as I'm guessing a lot of his 10,000 + posts are requesting more photos! These photos are of the original prototype Lil Rough Rider, The Worlds 1st? Mass Produced Offroad Teardrop Camper by "Little Guy" that Dave Renolds and Chris Baum thought I should have  I had the matching 31" tires and Matching Pro-Comp wheels ordered before my signature was dry on the order 8) The last photo is of my wifes Zuki X-90 as I saw a lot of pro-Suzuki posts.

Trailer has a pintle hitch, I have a combo 2" ball and pintle reciever(which limits it some)-but should be at least 45 degrees

Nice set up, I have the same tow vehicle. I wonder how many tears are being towed by jeeps

Looks great -- love the tire tread graphics.

The teardrop would look stunning painted to match the Jeep.

The Little guy has a straight Rubber Torsion axel and front and rear skid plates the full length and width of the frame.
This is a picture of the actual production model with the square "Jeep like" fenders taken at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.

I saw yours and thought the same, I have a quart of the paint that I ordered for the flat fender flairs for the jeep and thought I would do the lower 12" and fenders to match, but everyone likes it with just the small amount of green in the graphics.

Any chance you could post some pics of the pintle hook setup (trailer side)?

whats going on with the chassis? it looks like you have some interesting bracing underneath. care to elaborate? pics would be awesome!

Signatour Campers has a teardrop camper that is rated for offroad as well. Looks pretty cool and has a roof top tent option and an outside grill. What else do you need?
