HI! Has anybody come across any teardrop manufactured by GREGG MANUFACTURING CO. SOUTH GATE CALIF. The one I have according to the data plate found on top of the propane tank was built in 1948. The TD is all riveted aluminum. The lines are similar to those of a CUB. Would appriciate any info regarding this unit. I'll post some pictures soon, thanks.

Not to bw wise a$$ or anything but if it was "On top of the Propane tank"...and dated, it was probably for the tank its self.
Its a good guess though that the trailer was built in "48" or within 8 years after.
I say 8 years because that was how long the Old Tanks were certified for. But that doesn't really mean anything either, some of those old tanks are still in use today.
Is it a side mounted tank about 8-9" round with the valve mounted center top?
