EDIT - Camping World no longer Little Guy dealer

EDIT - Camping World was a dealer for one year. Given the bargain closeout prices they offered, I think they didn't sell well.

Camping world now an authorized Little Guy dealer.

Finally a place less than 100 miles from home. :D

Huh -- they're listing the 6'-wide as starting at $6195 while the LG web page has MSRP at $6495.

Maybe they're selling stripped-down versions.

Mine was much cheaper than MSRP because I got it without cabinetry and mattress.

Great to see teardrops going mainstream -- the economy sure is ripe for our small & smart "RVs."

Don't go to a Camping World expecting to see one.

Many of our stores aren't prepared or allowed to sell vehicles.

They probably will only be at the Freedom Roads Dealers. Or catalog only.

Happy Trails

According to the website eight stores have them. I went to the Wood Village, OR one this morning. They had five on the lot, from a Rascal to 5x8 Silver Shadow. Pricing seems a little high with shipping. I know the dealer in Seattle will sell for less this time of year.

This was the first time I've seen the Silver Shadow. Pretty well put together and I really like the birch interior. I was a little disappointed with some of the design. The back is pretty small. Doesn't even look like you can store a cooler back there. The shelf below the interior cabinets is pretty tight when you lay in it. Guess I'm used to the extra space in my LG.

Camping World is giving a Little Guy to the winner of the Camping World NASCAR truck series race tomorrow in Daytona. That will certainly give Little Guy and teardrops in general a bit of visibility!

"The race will be broadcast on the SPEED Network at 7:30pm Eastern Time on Friday, February 13 and the Little Guy Teardrop Trailer will be highlighted throughout the broadcast. "

I wonder if this means they are giving up on the little guys already? Volume not what they expected, or just trying to move some merchandise?

Probably giving up, like I know another former dealer did. They're priced too high for what little you get, the former dealer I was talking to couldn't sell them.

In this economy people are looking hard for value.

Great deals!

I got very excited when I saw the post and went to the website. Kept increasing my distance to try and find any Lil Guy anywhere. Finally when I typed in 300 miles from me (Atl. burbs) I found one in NC. A 6-wide, Used, 8K!! Not a deal to me. . .

*poof*

... and like that - the deal is gone.

The ad is gone and Little Guy Teardrop doesn't even show up in their search window. Sorry you missed it. :(

That is strange! The main page has disappeared, although the individual links are still active:
