I was watching the travel channel and there was a TV show that had extreme RVs and the complete opposite end of the spectrum, a very interesting stand up trailer.

I hope the prices can come down. It looks like a very well though out trailer.
I wounder if they could replace the pop top tent structure with fold down solid panels. humm.....

There isn't any difference in theses and Casita pricing or actually is higher at base price no whistles added.

Had the opportunity to inspect a Cricket today in NJ. Was on display at a local sporting goods store. Very well thought out. Use of floor space is excellent. For the size of the unit, it felt very large on the inside. Construction seemed to be first rate. Pop top should make for better gas mileage when towing. If you are interested in a very unique and usable small trailer this could be your cup of tea.
I was looking for a secondary trailer for when I go traveling by myself and don't want to tow the R-Pod. I was looking for a “nice to have” but not a “must have” item. When the Cricket first came out, I believe it was priced at about $9980 for a stripped down model. Now it sees to start at $16,000 and change. That is out of my “nice to have” range. You could go with a Micro Lite Cargo Lite Xtreme or an almost “standee” like a Serro Scotty lite. You could definitely trick out a cargo trailer for a lot less. You would have to drive thousands of miles to make up the difference in gas mileage.
I think the Cricket is an awesome piece of equipment just like a Camp Inn is an awesome piece of equipment. I use those two names because I think they are among the best of their categories. Just not for me at those price points.
