I just came across this vendor http://www.homegrowntrailers.com/sales/. You can watch a short video here https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/homegrown-trailers#/.

I was shocked at the price $28,995 (+ sales tax), especially for the off grid package for $7,500.

Worth checking out for ideas, looks like they are just starting out so lots of luck to them in their new business venture

saw the same article after noticing it is being built just a couple miles down the road from me. Than I saw the price and had to see it being it said teardrop!! Question is? is it a teardrop? looks like a teardrop but 18 feet long weighting in at over 2000 empty? Reminds me of the history of the trailer industry in what trailers evolved into in the forty's/fifty's when trailers grow up to what they are today. They had the look of over sized teardrops but ended up way bigger than what a true "teardrop" had been. Kind of another version of "retro" look of the yesterday like a few other company's have been doing coming back out with the last few years (Shasta along with some others) Oversized Teardrop Look
