I've been pondering making some of his "homeless" trailers using 4'x8' former election posters. The local party headquarters will gladly donate them to you. The only real expense would be the bicycle tires and rims along with a couple of cans of plastic spray paint. For the wood framing you could repurpose wooden pallets.

Then I found this site and ^wondering if the coroplast would hold up on a teardrop going at highway speeds. I would think if you fastened it to the framing using an air nailer or better yet an air stapler, it should hold up well.

Portland is having a terrible time with the homeless population and if think of you could get some of these made, you could probably get an organization or three to jump on the band wagon and start cranking them out pretty fast.

They'd sure look a lot better than blue tap tents they're using now and they'd have room inside to keep your clothes out of the weather.

If I can find a source for old bicycle tires and time, I'd make a many as I could until supplies ruin out, then just wait for the next election to restock.
