That looks like a nice copy of the Czech PAV trailer from the 60s and 70s.

And this reminds me that I took some photos for the single-wheel trailer fans on a visit to the UK Tank Museum in November. In the 1950s the British experimented with adding a single-wheel fuel trailer to tanks to increase the (inadequate) range of the Centurion tank - it didn't work out as the trailers got damaged too easily.

Sorry - camera phone pictures from a dim exhibition hall:

I was with an impatient eight-year-old so couldn't linger to see how it worked, but I think it was rigidly attached to the back of the tank and the single wheel just provided extra suspension to prevent pitching the tank backwards.

Wow. Judging by the volume, it looks like enough extra fuel for a tank to get 3 or 4 miles more down the road. Poor design and function but GREAT construction

8-433,

That *is* a nice trailer. I especially like the wheel and the suspension.

Hey, there's a cargo trailer in that photo. Any plans to convert it to a camping rig, or did you already do that?

Lots of ideas over in the Cargo Trailer Conversions forum here.

You do fine work!

Prem

Thanks!
That cargo trailer was just a cargo trailer. I just sold it about six weeks ago or so. I have my tear drop for camping in. I'm 6'3 and that cargo trailer was only about 5'6 inside or so.

close. I think the tear, from radius to radius is around 11 ft 4-5 inches? Its a standard 10 foot pop up frame.
