I like the new Emoticons... and just barely literate is all you need with FTP!!!

Once I figure out how to do multiple guest maps, I'll have to put you in charge of finding a few good maps!!!

Mike...

P.S. Do we have anyone here that is that far north?

Oops... I'm not 3 miles from the lake....I'm half IN Lake Michigan and half on land.

(Close enough)

mikecroskrey is in Fairbanks, Alaska. (No posts as of yet)
Our friends up north are located in 5 of the 10 provinces and 3 territories
Finding good maps, especially ones that can be manipulated will be a good challenge.
I wonder if there is such a thing as map templates?

What will it look like with more than 8 people on the map?
The size is somewhat small, and unless we can 'zoom in' on an area it will just serve to let us know that 'a bunch of people are from somewhere on the east coast'

The member locator on the "other site" shows quite a lot of members on a map about the same size.
The tiny trailer in the avatar is designed to carry our recumbents and sometimes sleep in. We LOVE having a kitchen in the woods and a place for most of our gear.

OK Mike, I could not figure out how to move the icon to the proper spot.
I should be below and slightly east of Dave (camp ADK) :?

After I finished, I checked and it looks like I'm too far south. I should be about another head's width further North. I couldn't figure out how to edit it. Well, actually I didn't try that hard since I was at work when I did it.

Marck,
You can add yourself to the map. When you move the cursor onto the map, with your mouse... you will notice that the cursor turns into a set of crosshairs. Carefully set the crosshair where you want to be placed and click the mouse, then select a little guy and enter the info that you want to include. Just be careful when you're lining up the crosshair, focus where the crosshairs intersect with one another. If you goof up, Mike can get you moved to the right location.

Norm and AsianFlava,

I deleted your entries so you can put them in exactly where you want them. Where you click the screen is where your marker will go!

Mike...

P.S. Bev, if you want to add yourself again too, let me know, I'll delete the old one!

I like it but my icon is a wee bit too far to the NE. And you don't have an old man icon.
