[Solved] Apparently the lack of notifications problem

Apparently the lack of notifications problem is pretty wide spread. I'd like to get a feel of how widespread the problem is.

If you've not been receiving your notifications please respond, and let me know what domain your email is on, eg comcast.net.

Mike: I just got off a 20 minute long phone call to my hosting company, and they did have a spam filter which I now have disabled. I have been assuming the wrong thing for the last few years. I'll keep you posted.

We've been talking with comcast, our email provider. I just turned in a trouble ticket to get us white listed there.

But the problem is far deeper than that.

I've been working with the ISP of the forum to find out what to change so that outgoing emails are not blocked... it's not an easy process. I checked the blacklists out on the web, and neither the ip nor the domain are blacklisted. So I'm not understanding what the spam blockers are keying in on...

Hmmmm.....I've never received any notifications. Oh wait, I'm not set up to receive notifications.

Now, I wasn't receiving all of the notifications BEFORE your upgrade. I would get a few for a day or so, and then not see any for a couple of weeks. This started over a month before your upgrade. I don't know if this helps you or not.

I am not receiving notifications and mine is through the ISP on which my web sites reside. I have full control both of the spam filters and review everything stopped so it just is not being sent.
