Mr. Madjack

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Fri Oct 14, 2005 5:51 pm

Dear Mr. Madjack,

Thank you for agreeing to do this job. Remember Bambi, (the deer) not the centerfold? Okay then.

Like I said in a PM to you....CONGRATS guy!!! I know you'll do a good job and since you are an administrator....I think you should commit to coming up to the Redwoods in 2006 for a Catfish fry....Dean has a turkey fryer that we can do up a ton of fish in....and with the Dutch Oven crowd...I'm sure we can come up with some red beans and rice and cornbread....Hello....my name is Doug and it has been 4 weeks since my last potluck...........Doug

Doug, I am actually the worlds first adMADinator  ;) RW'06 hmmmmmmmm, checked it out last nite...2300mi one way, if there is anyway, I'll be there. Keep the turkey fryer pot I like to use a 14" DO for frying fish, keep the red beans also, I'll use the DO for a Jambalaya or an Etoufee' or a Sauce Picant or........

TDN...I am still trying to figure the Bambi reference, as I recall Bambi was a very dark anti-hunting film were her(his) mother and friends got killed and his(her) home(forest) burned down...not at all sure how that applies.........

Alaska TD...yes I am, aren't I :D

...don't worry grasshoppah, you to shall learn  Actually the red beans and rice are not wrong BUT beans are beans and anybody can cook 'em but a good ol'Jambalaya or Etoufee' needs that special touch...If I can make it out you shall see the wisdom in those words :D ;)

It would be great if you can make it out here for the gathering, of course the Cajun food would have to be accompanied by some authentic Cajun music
