How to use the youtube tags...

It's time to remind everyone about the youtube tags that we have here...

Let's say for example you want to post the youtube of the dinoot trailer... and you know the movie id is: flM5ZbG9aVU

just paste the flM5ZbG9aVU and put youtube tags around it, by hilighting the movie id, and then hitting the youtube button.

It'll look something like this: {youtube}flM5ZbG9aVU{/youtube} of course you'll end up with square brackets not the curly ones.

And it'll look like this:

Mike, I've tried to use the Youtube tags several times. I have yet to get them to work. Instead I've used the URL tag to provide a link and named the link. Is there some more information needed to get them to work properly?

Stripped this long address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74Lm7dAx15M down to 74Lm7dAx15M and that worked (between the square brackets)!

just use the youtube ID (74Lm7dAx15M) between the [youtube][/youtube] tags.

some youtube addresses are long with multiple = in them so it's hard to decipher which part is the right part to insert between youtube tags.

In the first link you showed up there... you only want the part between the = and the &

i.e. ubn0sHW4jOk

everything else is feature lists and share lists, which has nothing to do with the id of the movie!
