Kevin,
I say you should disable the board and send Mike an email...

If you want to post a message, hit submit and when you get the error message hit the back button twice, go to view and then refrsh.

Kevin, I think you should disable the board and send Mike an email.
If you guys let this go any further, you're gonna have a whopper of a mess to clean up later... Just my opinion.

You guys are going to have to get a handle on this stuff. I had to waste the whole night working while I waited for the board to come back up. I hope they don't expect that sort of thing all the time now.

Last night was brutal. Went and brushed teeth while waiting for the site to come to life.... this a.m., better, just slightly tedious. But slow enough so I'll read topics selectively...

Dean,

Thanks for spotting that. I'll get the update patches this weekend.

It appears that all older versions of phpbb have been hacked by a worm of some sort and they (Incident Investigation Team) recommend that all webmasters shut their boards down and get in touch with them, so they can compare back ups to what's actually on the current board.

Sorry about those multiple posts above... I didn't even know they went through last night.
I'm afraid to ask an admin to delete them, 'cause the whole thread might vanish...
I'm wondering if the date 06-06-06 was used on purpose by the hackers that attacked phpbb site around the world yesterday???

Hey Mike.. looks like you got this puppy back up. Saw the error mysql error 145 come up which usually means you have to repair the effected table. Supposedly happens on occasion on overly busy mysql databases or if you run out of disk space.

I feel your pain! Been through a few board migration problem which require a lot of patience and attention. I'm migrating one to much more recent version of vB in the coming weeks, along with mysql upgrade along with a move to a new server provider... I have my fingers crossed!

Keep up the good work!
