Mike, do you have her email address? I can explain why she had so many problems with the flys in the yellow paint. Many insects are attracted to yellow. Check out the Japanese Beetle traps at HD if they have them. The tops where the bugs enter are YELLOW. That's also why I change the openings on Humming Bird feeders from yellow to red, so the wasps are not as attracted to them.
