Stardust

Did you just design your very own teardrop or tiny trailer? Want to discuss it? Here's the place to post your design for discussion!

Stardust

OK, I have come up with a new concept. Nothing to special about the shape except that there is a flat section at the back which could be utilized several different ways, and an extended fron perfect for a hanging closet.
The design features a huge amount of storage space and a great L-shaped bench which could seat 4 people for a meal (or a game of cards, or whatever).
This trailer is named Stardust because that was 'our song' at our wedding and this design was done to my wifes needs and wants for a trailer.

She likes it, I hope you guys do too!

Hey, you're back in business... I can't wait till you actually start building. You said that would be October, right?

Mike...

P.S. The overhead storage looks like it's going to knock you out...

The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

I like the shape, more curve than the Benroy. But still pretty buildable.
Would you put a flat on the top for a vent or would you vent in the sidewalls?

The roof is going to be vented. I am going to build a small frame (just bigger than the vent) with slight curves on the bottom to fit the roof.
As far as building, that will probably be closer to January now.
I have my liver biopsy and it looks like I have lost about 20% of my liver function (because I am a big lardbutt!) I also have deveoped an ulcer.
I am on medication for both and also on a lowfat diet.
So for now I am pretty tired most of the time. Hopefully after I drop some weight I can get back to things.
In fact today is the first day I have been able to sit down at the computer long enough to do a drawing.

That very back corner of the bench is not meant to be sat on. So the overhead is no problem. That is why I made the bench an L rather than a diner style.
