Expand on your cargo trailer idea Id like to hear what you are thinking
I have looked at some 5'8 cargo trailers and they are perfect. The one I looked at had a door and a rear hatch. It also came with a ceiling fan/vent. I have been unable to get up there to get a price but i suispect it'll be under 3gs

TAILGATINGnNUT

I thought that it might be easier to retrofit a cargo trailer. Home Depot has them 5'x8' and 6'x 10'. I think they go for around $1900 and $2350 respectivly. I was looking at one for my parents to make a camper for them. Being older they feel more comfortable with more headroom than a teardrop can provide. The 6'x10' has double doors in the rear and a side door on the passenger side. The 5'x8' only has the rear doors. I think it could be adapted for your purposes as well. By walling off the rear doors and mounting base cabinets with upper cabinets and countertop within let's say a 2 1/2 foot space. You could store a small refrigerator/keg with tap. On the door mount folding shelves that could hold a small grill and mount a condiment rack above if needed. The counter top contains a small sink and serving area. The upper cabinet have rotating table on it for a TV that could be seen inside or outside. The other door you could build another set of folding shelves for food chip or what have to snack on. The inside raised sleeping area to allow for more storage for folding chairs and tables and sun shelter canopy. Just a thought

I have seen 5'8 with a door on the side. That would be perfect. I was alos thinking of creatign a bunk bed system inside that folds up or a single bed system that folds up. Any thoguhts on that? I want to real max out the inside of this thing

You could make the top bunk narrow and fold it flush with the wall. The lower one could be built wider but in bench form to provide an area to store folding chairs. ez-up sunshade and other stuff that would be enclosed for overall clean (uncluttered) appearance. I am sure that they make 5 x 8 with side doors. I have not see one so far at Home Depot. I do not have much time today due to Hurricane prep so if I don't get back to you right away. The storm will probally knock out the power and phone here again for awhile, imagine 4 of them F#*!*!r's in six weeks. The bunk idea would be better due the five foot width of the trailer. I would mount in the nose of the trailer inside some additional storage maybe overhead cabinets or find maybe a school style hall lockers are something like that for the sport effect. I will think some more on the idea we will get it right eventually

Well, you don't have to YELL!!! I believe you!!!

If it were me I would get the cargo trailer at home depot... They have some nice ones there. Just the size you need.

Then you don't have to worry about fixing someone elses headache. You can just start improving...

What did you say... 15# of stuff in a 5# trailer... Yea, I wanna see you do that!!!

Mike...

P.S. They don't call it Wells Fargo for nothing... er, I mean Cargo...

Everything is alright here, just lots of debris and down trees. It could have been worse.
