I had to redo Deans Design... to add some texture mapping... just to make it interesting...

I let some of the textures clash on purpose... Dean would never build it this way, would you Dean?

Anyways... here's the VRML file of Deans teardrop... 8)

Mike...

P.S. If you need the Cortona client to view the VRML (wrl) files above, you can download the MS Internet Explorer addin here...

Okay guys....

Humor me again... has anyone installed Cortona and looked at the models? Should I continue making models, or would you guys prefer .jpgs?

Hey Mike, I've been using Cortona since you mentioned it the other day. It works great so far. Can i save one of your files with Cortana or are they only on your site?
PS. you sure make this place interesting... :D

Hey Norm,

I would think you can right click on the wrl link and save as to your hard drive... It's a good question though... I'll have to play with that... I wonder if the textures will download too... (big question!)

Mike,
Question here; in Dean's design, is the galley wall really that far forward? or is the bottom section removable. It looks like the bed would be too short with the galley wall as shown. :?:

Yes you spotted it too!!! Deans design had a really deep counter, because Dean wanted to set a microwave on it...

Look at his design here...
http://tnttt.com/viewto ... =9493#9493

As soon as Dean saw the 3D model he realized the counter was too deep... I know there has been a redesign since then, but I have not modeled it...

Mike...

P.S. The bed is long enough... it's 80" which is a queen sized length...

In that case, I'll continue to export my models into VRML (wrl) format for you guys to look at!!!

Ever since I got the textures working, I really like it!!!
