mike you nailed it, now im gonna build it like the puffin out over the wheel wells, but with the weekender lines, looks soo cool!!!!!!!!! Hows about adding a propane storage area and an ac, very very nice, im gonna use the side of it to cook on, ill use the table that the puffin has but ittl be longer. The propane hook up will be on the side where the table is gonna be, soo i can just take the grill out and cook on the table

oooooo

mike, i like the looks of the 6x10 weekender you drew up( you have some great cad skills) what is the thought on a drop floor of a few inches and lowering the top height some? i am towing with a landcruiser so width and height isnt a major problem.

No I don't have any more drawings. What you see is all I have. But you can build it with Weekender construction techniques
http://www.mikenchell.com/weekender/

or Benroy construction techniques (up there in the menu)

Mike, the wheel size would have to be 13" to 15" to look right, wouldnt you think? i sold the old popup this weekend, so i will not start daily checking craigslist for trailer options

I think anything 13" and up would be fine. I have 13" on my ET, and it looks okay.

mike, do you think there would be a big towing difference in the 6x10 weekender versus something like the baja benroy?

I don't think you would notice the difference between the weekender and the benroy.

The weight could be about the same, and the cross section area could be similar.

I'll go out and measure the height of the ET for you this evening.
