Power Center Question

Postby john curtis » Sat Dec 12, 2009 12:32 pm

Hi everybody.I bought a Paralax 6730 power center for my TD and it has a 30amp,20amp and two 15amp breakers in it. My question to everyone is can I take the 30 and 20 amp breakers out and replace them with 15s and have 4 usable breakers or do I have to leave the 30 in and have 3 usable breakers .Or better yet do I just leave it the way it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks John

PS dose the PC need the 30amp breaker to funtion ?

The 30 amp is the main input breaker, so you can't use it for a fourth branch circuit. You could change out the 20 amp for something smaller, but I don't really see a reason to do so. I'd leave it as is and keep the 20 amp circuit for the significant other to plug in her blow drier and curlers ;)
