750kg is the Max unbreaked weight for a trailer in NSW and ACT.
I just checked and the recomended unbreaked weight for a trailer towed by a Mazda 3 is 500kg.
As the design progresses I will get a better Idea of weight.
Construction is ply, foam walls and Al roof.
This is just my opinion, take for what it is - just an opinion. If you are building a custom frame get your design goals set in terms of the body first, profile, galley features, etc. then you can make a better decision on what the frame 'needs' to be. Quite a few people have built VERY stout frames for very light weight teardrops. Many of the frames rival full sized camper frames which is a bit absurd considering the tear is generally no where near the size or weight of a full sized camper/caravan.
Have you picked a profile yet, either from the
design library up top or your own variation?
