I posted this in vtx1029's thread about his motorcycle trailer and then thought id make a new thread for it just for giggles.

Based on the HF 40x49 trailer. Should be fairly light...

Specs:
36" tall when closed
40" wide
60" long
Queen size bed when folded out

The tent would be the most expensive thing to have custom made. The rest should be fairly straight forward. To save on scrap and money you could make it 48" long and have a 48x80 bed to sleep on...

I like it!

Put a tailgate on the trailer as well. This would provide access to the cargo area when the tent is up.

I can't take credit for the design... only the CAD work. Andrew's site has the original version of it.... I just put my spin on it... Thanks though

This is actually the design of the original Apache trailers. They have become a classic among Apache fans like myself. :applause:

The Belany Teepee is a vintage one of this design.

For a modern version of it we have the MOAB folding tent units.
