It is beautiful! I will be thinking of you this weekend, and waiting for the pictures after that!

It's definitely an awesome build no matter how the boat aspect of it turns out.

Was just something that I thought about while looking at the finished project, trying to picture what it would look like in the water. Then, wondering how deep it would actually sink.

How big is the motor you're putting on it?

Hi and thanks for comments.

"How did it handle in the water?"

First impression with one onboard was supricely positive. Even two inside it was "good" - to my expectations.
But as compared to real boat - it´s slow. It´s quite stable, but slow. It´s very funny when taking other boats waves - even bigger - pops up and down but it´s not scary.
But It´s only mean to very protected waters and on calm weather. I don´t want to do continous waves on windy day - too scary.

Bigges con is that it turns very easy - so gentle toutch to tiller is needed and continous attention. It helps if the whale is balanced rigth...

But this was mean as fun vehicle - to go camping on near by island and those both it does well - for sure it get eyes and cameras and peoples seems to come talking...

Thanks

Awesome job.

That didn't sink much at all, even with two people. Great job!

Looks like it tows really easy as well. Did you happen to get a final weight on it?

You can tell this guys a boat builder - stunning work, very lighweight framing, but I bet its really strong.

I also love the simplicity of the hatch - I've still to start my build, but from all the "what ifs" and "how do I...." that I read here, its the rear hatch I fear most. But this looks a simple 'boat like' way of achieiving it!

Great work :applause:
