This is the exact shape I have been looking for on my next build! I saw your initial sketch in the first post. Can you give the measurements you used to create the profile? I would love to do this exact shape!

I was wandering how deep you made the galley? I am considering doing a 7 footer with a bunk and I'm wandering how deep of a galley to do. Thanks for your time!

Added the galley & cabin shelving dimensions to the sketch.

Went out to the trailer to envision a child's bunk & drew it in approximately where it might fit without encroaching on the adult cabin space.
Keep on designing :designing:

Great sketches and thanks for sharing them with everyone ... I am sure they will help those building or contemplating a TD or even a CT conversion :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Quick question: I am planning on having a 4' tongue and your design has a 3' 2'' tongue. With that in mind should I move the axle forward 10'' making it 37'' from the rear? Thanks again!

Posting these mechanical drawings for those that may be interested in building this way. They are drawn on 18" x 24" paper. From these I am able to determine how parts fit together, make a materials list, estimate weights and decide which tools to use.

Copies of the drawings are tacked to the shop wall to work from, add working dimensions and make notes & changes.

After traveling several thousand miles, attending a couple of gatherings and camping around Michigan I'm very pleased with the Northern Lite. It handles especially well, is comfortable and convenient. No changes made, but have added curtains, interior hanging hooks, Caseydogs simple 110V arrangement and a 12V interior socket.
