Yes I'm a nerd, I can say yes to both actually. Got a late start on BSG, SciFi channel had a marathon which got me hooked. We had to rent the pilot so that I could figure it out.

I didn't like TNG when it came out, I was a fan of the old series. But after a while the shows from the TNG universe grew on me. Now when I see the old series, I can't believe that I liked them better.

The new BSG doesn't work for me.......I like the old ones from the 80's. They were the best!!!!!

Re: Galileo 7 ...

... I see it in 'glass over foam, silver of course, set down over the frame about 4", and chrome the tongue of the frame so it sort of "disappears" and makes it look like the trailer is being towed by a tractor-beam. Don't forget the silver diamond-tuck naugahide interior with all the flashing colored lights.

The Galileo is a little too retro for me. Now if we could do the Delta Flier...

Camp long, and prosper :SG

I like the runabout(Rio Grand, DS9) more room and flies at warp speed.

I think the Galileo 7 tiny trailer would be a hit. The tail lights in the nacelles are the best.
I would laugh my ass off if I saw one, then follow it so I could ask where I could get one.

Nice Lone Wolf. Yes, I'm a nerd also. BSG starts back up on Friday, still waiting for Firefly to make a come back. Now I'm hooked on Doctor Who, they started it back up in 05 and I'm finding all the old ones I can find.

Another one here. I watch the old Startrek when ever I can, never did get to be a big fan of STNG but BSG is ok. But my favorite was Farscape, I've got all those on my harddrive, now there's a real alien sci-fi show. I also watch Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis regularly too.

Mike: Yes that has potential.Paint some graphics and windows. And add nacelles and presto Galileo.
Spadinator: Me to one time one of the stations ran all of the BSG episodes back to back and I taped them all. I am a sci-fi nut from way back grew up watching Flash Gordon.

Hi Lone Wolf,

Looks Cool, Build It. :applause:

How about adding hydraulics and a removable tong. Get to the campground drop it on the ground and remove the pull bar, stand back and watch the people gather around.

I actually considered that - especially since there's a large opening hatch in the rear. :applause:

My kids looked at me like I was an alien and quickly declared they'd never set foot in it if I did.

On the practical side of things - kinda hard to incorporate conventional windows into the design of the Galileo. I'll likely finish it off as something much more 'trailery.'

ya know MikeW, if'n ya put a pair of radiused windows in the front and one of those truck capper window that leans forward on the sides, they would fit the idea...along with the graphics and some 6/8"PVC storage pods for nacelle's you would have it goin' on...big time
